Event Description

Indian Institute of Cartoonists is organising an exhibition of cartoons by a Brazilian cartoonist Mr. Silvano Mello on 11th December 2023 at the cartoon gallery. Self-taught, Mr. Silvano Mello is an award-winning Brazilian cartoonist. His works have been published in Le Monde Diplomatique Brazil newspaper, Dossiê magazine, Você S/A magazine, Literary Supplement Pernambuco, Continente magazine, Efimerida Ton Syntakton newspaper (Greece), Trema magazine, Literary Supplement Rascunho, El Chamuco magazine (Mexico). He has been dedicated to graphic humor since 2007, developing his work in the fields of cartoons, political cartoons, caricature and illustration.

He has so far received 96 awards in National and International competitions in countries such as Turkey, Iran, Ukraine, Montenegro, Portugal, Spain, Kosovo, Mexico, Israel, Romania, Germany, Italy, Syria, Azerbaijan, Russia, USA and Brazil.
