Join us for a hands-on workshop with pianist Aman Mahajan where we dive into improvisation through the lens of chord-scales. We'll explore ways to sing, hear, and visualize melodies as they move through chord changes. 

🦉 Chord-scales? Why?

We look in detail at approaching the chord changes on a song, to understand the progression and break down exactly what notes would sound 'inside' each chord, or what scales would fit. Using the scales as scaffolding, we then using our individual voices to navigate the chord changes, creating a lyrical, melodic solo.
