Event Description

BLR Design Centre in collaboration with Penciljam community presents “Sketchbook Saturday”. Sketchbooks are a private, and intimate space for artists to think, experiment, and try new ways of designing or creating art. Sketchbook Saturday is a bi-monthly event where artists from the Penciljam community share their sketchbooks and creative process. Abhirama is a Bengaluru-based concept artist working across animated feature films and shows. His practice focuses on visual storytelling, world-building and observational drawing, often inspired by everyday spaces, travel and lived experiences. Alongside his professional work in animation, he explores independent storytelling through film, games and personal visual studies. Through drawing and documentation, he is interested in understanding places, people and narratives, using observation as a way to expand his visual language and creative perspective.
