Kantha is the flagship subfestival at BLR Hubba 2024- 16 days of music at the historic Freedom Park, celebrating music from across Asia that breaks boundaries. Between 30th November and 15th December, weekends will see 3 artists play each day, while weekdays will have 2 artists each day. 
 
This performance is curated and produced by W.I.P Labs and presented to you in collaboration with W.I.P alt.FEST BLR.

About the Artist
 
Sneha Khanwalkar is an innovative music artist known for her masterful fusion of Indian folk sounds with electronic beats. Celebrated as a Bollywood music composer, Sneha gained recognition through her work on projects like Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, LSD, Gangs of Wasseypur, to name a few, where her unconventional approach brought raw, regional sounds to mainstream audiences.  
 
Embracing India’s diverse soundscape, she explores lesser-known local music traditions, often recording in remote areas to capture authentic textures. Her work in experimental dance music blends these field recordings with high-energy, bass-driven beats, creating an immersive experience that’s vibrant, gritty, and unpredictable.  
 
Sneha’s unique style breaks boundaries, merging traditional Indian elements with electronic and dance genres in a way that’s fresh and deeply rooted in cultural authenticity. Her performances are electrifying journeys that take listeners from rural India to pulsating dance floors worldwide.
