Event Description

Manjunath Wali was born in 1985 and raised in Huvin Hipparagi, Vijayapura, Karnataka. Completing MFA in Painting from Vijaya Fine Art College, Gadag, Dharwad University, he first displayed in the 7th Karnataka Kala Mela, which led to a display at the 59th National Exhibition of Art. His painting was later selected as one of the 490 works from 71 countries for the International Water Colour Society Biennale Exhibition, New Delhi, Solo Show Vennba Art Gallery Chennai in 2021. His works have been displayed in the UK, Japan, Singapore, Dubai and other international locations. Apart from the Camlin Award Pan India in 2013 and 2014, he won the Lokamanya Tilak National Award, the 45th Karnataka Lalit Kala Academy Award and in 2019 he won the Shenoy Art Foundation Emerging Artist Award for Watercolour.
