Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of melodies, rhythms, and improvisations by Suma on Santoor, Guruprasad on Flute and Santosh on tabla. About the artists: Suma Hegde - Santoor She started her learning from her father, Shri G G Hegde, an eminent tabla player and also an instrument maker when she was 12. In 2009, when she got the opportunity to meet Pt. Shivkumar Sharma, she was put under the guidance of his senior disciple, Dr. Dhananjay Daithankar. She has been learning under his guidance for the past 11 years. She has performed across India in well-known festivals like Santoor Samaroh in Bhopal, Dharohar Music Festival in Banglore, and Swar Dhara concert in Mumbai to name a few. Guruprasad Hegde He started playing flute at the age of 14 under the guidance of his father M V Hegde. He is now under the guidance of Pt. Pravin Godkhindi and has been learning from him for the past 10 years. Shri Santhosh Hegde He started his initial training in Tabla from Pt. Bhaskar Hegde and later advanced training under Pt. M.S. Sali of Banaras Gharana. Currently, he is learning tabla from Pt. Udayraj Karpur of Bangalore. Santhosh is a graded artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan and has performed in various festivals across India
