Event Description

Join us for the finale of STHIRA 2025, Sustainable Food Innovation Challenge, hosted jointly by foodwize, India and the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo, Italy. Listen to university students present new solutions to some of the most pressing challenges affecting the security and resilience of the food system. 

STHIRA was created to engage people with food and its relationship with several aspects of the earth's living systems. We hope to inspire future food professionals and entrepreneurs and equip them to incubate new food businesses built on thoughtful local solutions. 

Students will present their ideas on how to revive indigenous food ingredients, localise food systems, reduce food waste, shape urban food futures, re-imagine food systems through creative practice and reclaim human wisdom to food and health in the digital age. 

We welcome participation from the general public. Attendance is free but, registration is required.
