Event Description
BIC is happy to present weekly reading sessions for kids in our Library! This is an interactive storytelling session for kids aged 5 to 12 years. It starts with getting the children to enter the realm of imagination. Then taking them through the emotions of the characters being performed by the storyteller. The session ends with a creative, arts-based activity/game to engage the children’s curiosity. Join in for this storytelling session and encourage your children’s reading habits! Facilitator Srishtika Storyteller & Writer Srishtika is a linguist, storyteller, writer and content creator, who completed her post-grad from IIT Madras in English Studies (not an engineer!) She currently works in Bangalore, where she designs the English language enrichment programme for schools at an educational service company. She received the Indian Poetry Award (2018), was commended by Wingword (2019) for her poems “Desire” and “Home” respectively. Srishtika was recognised among the top 100 poets in the Hashtag Kalakar Creative & Poetry Writing Competition (2023)
