Event Description
Luca Chiavinato, from Italy, will present a brief introduction to the Lute and its rich history, narrate his own journeys in studying classical guitar in the music school in Italy, his performances around the world, all of which eventually lead him to explore his fascination for the Oud and the Arabic Maqam system and to study under the great masters. This conversation will also be interspersed with short performances, both solo as well as a musical meeting, with interlocutor, Jagadeesh Ramanujam Mudambi, Director BSM, MoonArra on guitar and Madhuri Jagadeesh, MoonArra, on vocals – connecting the old with the contemporary.
