About the exhibition:
Symphony of the Wild by Ganapathi Ram and Debabrata Bagchi
To see the natural world not just for what it is, but for what it feels like. This fine art wildlife photo exhibition captures the music of the wild, transforming its wild inhabitants and their landscapes into studies of light and motion. Through techniques of intentional camera movement, layers of abstraction and minimalism, these images invite the viewer to experience the vibrant symphony of nature itself.
The exhibition opens with a guided tour on September 19th, 6:30 PM.
About the photographers:
Ganapathi Ram
Based in Chennai, India, Ganapathi began his photography journey in 2017 with birds, later exploring wildlife. Over time, he developed a passion for silhouettes and an artistic approach, especially capturing subjects against the light. Experimenting with this style, he focused on layering foregrounds and backgrounds, eventually adopting a minimalistic style and paying closer attention to his surroundings. He has been awarded in prestigious photo contests nationally and internationally such as DJMPC, Memorial Maria Luisa, etc. He can be reached at Ganapathi.volley@gmail.com
Debabrata Bagchi
Debabrata Bagchi - aka Deb - is a creative nature and wildlife photographer based out of Bangalore, India. For Deb, nature Photography started with documenting birds in and around where he stays and eventually evolved into a form of self expression. What began as a curiosity, evolved to a journey to look inwards. Deb moved beyond literal representation, using intentional motion, minimalism, and the artful play of light to reveal the soul of the wild. Each photograph that he aims to capture is an impression; of spirit, motion, and form that stays with you. He can be reached at dbagchi77@gmail.com
