Event Description

Author and traveller Sanjoy Hazarika takes us along the Brahmaputra, a river that winds through Tibet, India, and Bangladesh before reaching the Bay of Bengal. Ahead of the release of his travelogue with Speaking Tiger in October 2025, he reflects on decades of journeys on its water,  from storms and struggles to resilience and renewal.

Through stories of people and places shaped by the river, he offers a rare perspective on one of the world’s most remarkable waterways.

A Q&A with the audience will follow his presentation.
