Event Description

After exploring the transformational intersection of values, learning, and the arts through our Maya Musical in 2014 and The Greatest Show On Earth in 2019, Teach for India presents our next big production: A Sufi and Hamilton-inspired hip-hop musical that explores the idea of India: The Conference of the Birds.

In this musical, a group of students embarks on a journey of Liberty, Equality, Fraternity, and Justice. They discover that the way to make India more equitable, just, free and full of love, lies in each of them and within all of them. The musical shows children that they are the future of India, and develops them as citizens and changemakers. This magical celebration reminds us of our students’ limitless potential and the power of a reimagined education to get there.
