Event Description

The Crafts Council of Karnataka is pleased to present Vastrabharana – its annual flagship exhibition and sale of handcrafted textiles and jewellery. In its 31st edition this year, the theme of Vastrabharana is inspired by the Indian subcontinent’s history of producing spices, which were traded along the Silk Route, alongside fine textiles and other luxury goods.

We have invited our participating artisans and designers to take inspiration from spices and how they engage with all of the senses through sight, smell, touch, taste and even hearing. Proceeds from the exhibition go towards supporting craft communities across India.
