About The Early Warning System The Early Warning System project aims to turn the human body into a sensor that can predict extreme geological and weather events. We will look at recent developments in animal monitoring systems and the enhanced capacity of radio tags to collect rich telemetric data from space. We also consider the adivasi idiom 'jo naachi so baachi' - those who dance will survive, as an alternate method to sense the rhythms and patterns of the Earth. During the tryout we juxtapose the two approaches to telemetry, namely, 'becoming sensor' and 'mounting sensor'. We will start to think together, how to reconcile these approaches or prepare ourselves to mourn the loss of one in the interest of the other.
