Join us for an evening of musical reverence at The Eternal Echo, a heartfelt homage to the revered santoor maestro, Pt. Shiv Kumar Sharma, whose music has left an indelible mark on the world of classical music. In this special concert, the late Pt. Shiv Kumar Sharma’s senior disciple, Pt. Dhananjay Daithankar, along with his son Ninad Daithankar, will come together to honor the legendary artist’s legacy through a santoor duet. Through their performance, they will revisit and share with us the music that they internalised through the teachings of Shiv Kumar Sharma and that which defined his illustrious career, offering an intimate glimpse into the profound artistry and innovative spirit of the maestro. As they traverse the rich tapestry of melodies that Shiv ji crafted, this concert will not only celebrate his contributions to music but also reflect on his influence on generations of musicians and listeners alike. They will be accompanied by Shantanu Deshmukh on Tabla.
