Event Description

The Week of Italian Cuisine in the World is one of the longest running initiatives promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. To mark its 10th edition this year, the Consulate General of Italy in Bengaluru and foodwize present a conversation on "The Future of Food: Health, Innovation, Planet” on 27 November 2025 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Library Hall, Bangalore International Centre, Indiranagar.

With practitioners and scientists representing diverse dimensions of the food system, this conversation will shine a light on how sustainable food models are critical to human and environmental health and the growing need for innovation in food practices across the length and breadth of the food system. We will explore how Italy and India, each with their distinct and diverse food cultures and practices, share a common vision for a sustainable future for food.
