Constitution Day, also known as, Samvidhāna Divasa, also known as “National Law Day”, is celebrated in India on 26 November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26 November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted to the Constitution of India, and it came into effect on 26 January 1950.
To commemorate this day, we have a Young BIC session, for children between the ages of 10 years and 14 years. Poornima Hatti, Constitution storyteller, walks down memory lane unpacking the underlying principles that gave us the preamble to the Constitution.
This is an interactive event and your insights might make Poornima wiser! Do join us!
