Join us at Atta Galatta for an intimate and delightfully offbeat evening with The Sarjapur Blues Band, an underground, eclectic rhythm and blues duo known as much for their music as for their irreverent humour and refusal to play by the rules. With roots going back over three decades on Sarjapur Road, the band has built a quiet, word-of-mouth following, performing only their original music in homes, offices, and beloved cultural spaces.

The Sarjapur Blues Band—featuring Shekhar Seshadri on vocals and acoustic guitar, and Vinoo Matthew on electric guitar—will perform on 29th May, from 6 PM onwards. With over 50 years of performance experience between them, the duo brings a rare mix of lived-in musicality, sharp wit, and storytelling to the stage.

Known for their no-frills, no-recordings, no-internet presence, SBB remains refreshingly elusive in a world of constant visibility. Their performances are peppered with humour and candid banter, with songs like the “world-famous-in-Bangalore” Lady Nicotine offering a glimpse into their unique musical world.
