Event Description

Step into a space of quiet reflection and musical depth with The Shape of Sound in Stillness, a Hindustani classical vocal concert that invites listeners to pause, breathe, and realign amidst the calm of the late morning.

In this intimate gathering, the rich textures of voice, tanpura, tabla, and harmonium come together to create a contemplative soundscape—one that soothes the senses and encourages inward stillness. The selected ragas, rooted in the morning hours, are chosen to evoke clarity, gentle energy, and a renewed sense of presence.

Led by accomplished artists dedicated to the living tradition of Hindustani classical music, this concert is more than a performance. It is a meditative offering, an experience where music becomes a quiet companion in our search for balance, calm, and connection.

Let the unfolding rhythms and resonant melodies guide you toward a place of inner harmony—an ideal way to anchor yourself before the day gathers pace.
