Event Description

Shubham Roy is an independent singer-songwriter known for his heartfelt music that blends everyday experiences into melodies of joy and sorrow. He sings and composes in multiple Indian regional languages, including Malayalam, Kannada, Punjabi, Bengali, and Hindi. He has lent his vocals to movies like 777 Charlie and *Kumbasaram (Nila Veyillil). Shubham will be performing a mix of folk and fusion songs along with his originals, including both released tracks and some unreleased ones from the upcoming EP. The originals will be in Hindi and Bengali, with a few multilingual pieces thrown in. Plus, we are making it a release party for "Dheere," which drops on September 20th! This intimate set at The Blue Room will feature Siddharth Bharadwaj on flute, and Sidharth Ravi on percussion. Sidharth Bhardwaj, a Carnatic classical-trained flutist and composer, brings his rich tradition to life with contemporary flair. Touring with some of the most prominent artists, his music echoes both mastery and innovation. Sidharth Ravi brings a natural ease to his performances, moving between instruments like the Darbuka and Ghatam with precision and skill. His ability to sing in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and English adds an extra layer to his laid-back yet engaging presence on stage.
