ABOUT THE BOOK:

The Dear Don’t Talk is a thrilling murder mystery in the classical mould, featuring the private investigator Rudrapeep Ray and his best friend Sujit. Based in Calcutta of the turbulent seventies, the story is set     in the palatial home of the Ganguly family where a member of the household is found murdered inside a locked room. As Rudradeep pieces together a complicated puzzle, he has to contend with the hostile witnesses and perplexing clues, with the police forming a reluctant ally.

Rudradeep delves deeper into the crime, uncovered layer after layer of deceit and lies. No one is what they appear to be and almost every member of the Ganguly family has had a direct or indirect motive to commit the murder. A the murderer strikes a second time, Rudradeep leads the case to a shocking conclusion

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Sumit Ghosal is an expert in Capital Markets. An accomplished  professional with several degrees to his credit (MBA, M. Tech and B.Sc Tech) and work experience with several top companies. Sumit has had a love for the written word from a very young age. A voracious reader across several genres (thrillers, mystery, detective friction, horror, mythology, cricket, history, historical friction, finance,  wildlife, films, travel and biographies.

Sumit's first novel is a detective friction and is a murder mystery set in the Kolkata of the seventies "The Dead Don't Talk"

ABOUT THE CURATOR:

Neeraj is a regular member of Urban Solace Book Lovers' Club. He loves reading but can't claim to be an avid reader. He reads whenever he gets time, especially during his official travels. He reads books in almost all genres but his favourite genres are mythology, history, travelogues and thriller. His personal favourites are 'The Mahabharata', 'The Last Mughal', all stories of Arthur Conan Doyle and the Millennium trilogy. Professionally he works in an IT company as a capital market domain expert.
