About the Band: Thermal and A Quarter (TAAQ) is a Bangalore-based Blues Rock band formed in 1996. With 8 studio albums to their credit, TAAQ has toured the subcontinent and made their way to perform at prominent festivals and venues all over the world- from the UK and US to Ireland, Maldives, Singapore, Dubai, Nepal and many more. TAAQ has already shared the stage with legends such as Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Megadeath, Machinehead, Dire Straits, Guns and Roses and more across their 27 years of existence. With chart toppers (#1 for World Gone Mad and #2 for Leaders of Men) under the World and Euro Charts, and multiple accolades and awards- the finish line is nowhere in sight for TAAQ as the band has their eyes set on a new full-length album in late 2024.
