Event Description

Cooked over hot charcoal in earthen pots called Tagine, these are a specialty of Morocco, the Middle East, Turkey and some really old cultures. Perfect for the winter months, Tagines are hearty dishes which are ideal as soul food   And that is why this November, Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway has designed a festival to celebrate the Tagine dishes   From Msabbaha, a classic middle eastern dish best enjoyed with Hummus, Meigoo-E-Polo crumb-fried prawns with Shirazi sauce to Kalmar Tava a Turkish-style fried calamari served with zaatar pita and lavash, there are a plethora of dishes to explore the Tagine culture with. If you are a chicken lover, there are signature dishes like the Al-Faham Chicken, Moroccan Chicken & Almond Tagine you can experience at this festival   Last but not the least, we believe that no meal is complete without a dessert which is why we have included some rich Persian delicacies like the Sherine Makhsous Refsanjan - a warm pista pudding with vanilla sauce, the Sholleh Zard - a Persian rice pudding with saffron to choose from among other recipes
