Traversing through visual and sound installations, video, photography, print and performance, the show tries to reimagine the idea of the inheritance of loss. Collaborating Artists Nimi Ravindran Theatre Practitioner & Writer Nimi Ravindran is a writer, teacher and theatre practitioner with over 20 years of experience working in theatre in various capacities. Her most recent work is a site specific theatre piece titled On a Different Note (co-directed with Vinod Ravindran). She is also the co-founder and Artistic Director of the Bangalore-based Sandbox Collective. Ben Brix Cinematographer & Video Artist Ben Brix is a video artist, video editor, cameraman and media technician based in Berlin. Since 2012, his artistic work deals with observation using moving image to explore the area between documentation and fiction. The credibility of images and how they create meaning is a central topic of his work. He is currently working with Kiri Dalena on a film project in Manila on the war on drugs. Sachin Gurjale Theatre Practitioner & Sound Designer Sachin Gurjale is a theatre practitioner, having acted and directed in various productions for over 20 years. He is currently exploring sound design for performance. Rency Philip Theatre Practitioner & Educator Rency Philip is a theatre artist based in Bangalore, India. Trained in contemporary puppetry, physical comedy, and masks, her work spans from devised theatre to postdramatic, including site-specific performances and digital media. She is a drama educator and conducts workshops to build puppets using found objects and materials. Aakriti Chandervanshi Visual Artist, Curator & Designer Aakriti Chandervanshi is an award-winning visual artist, curator and designer from India whose work is embedded in the contexts of her everyday life in the landscapes of South Asia. Her works have been part of group exhibitions in India and abroad. She was awarded the TOTO Award for Photography (2024), the runner-up for the Alpine Fellowship Visual Art Prize 2021 and The People’s Choice Award at the Ballarat International Foto Biennale 2021 among others. Sujay Saple Interdisciplinary Artist & Designer Sujay Saple is an interdisciplinary artist from Mumbai, India. His practice lies at the intersection of performance and installation. He has been an independent performance-maker, designer, teacher and performer, working professionally in the arts field since 2002, on more than 60 collaborative projects. Sujay is the director of Shapeshift – a project-based experimental group he set up in Mumbai in 2012. Baan G Musician & Interdisciplinary Artist Baan G is a New Delhi-based interdisciplinary artist and teacher with over two decades of experience in music, sound design, composition, and production. He has contributed to critically acclaimed projects in film, documentaries, live shows, and interactive media, and has performed and recorded worldwide with renowned artists and musicians. Baan G is the founder of Dastaan LIVE, a political art rock live performance project, and co-founder of an arts collective based out of New Delhi – WIP Labs. Charulatha Dasappa Writer, Editor & Arts Professional Charulatha Dasappa is a writer, editor, and arts professional based in Bangalore. She also works as a production manager and has received training in Intermodal Expressive Arts. Charulatha is part of Sandbox Collective and the Kathasiyah artists’ collective.
