About the Workshop
How do we tell our story? How do we create and explore identity through images? Join us for a tester workshop that dives into these essential questions around the ways of “HOW.” This workshop invites participants to explore identity by creating and interpreting images that reflect their personal stories. Facilitated by Krithika Sriram, Krithika uses various photographic techniques to explore concepts of Self, identity, and personal history. How do we tell our stories visually? How can we create alt/new images? How do we make meaning through our images? If you’re interested in exploring these questions about identity, self-expression, and storytelling, we encourage you to apply for this unique workshop experience. This session is ideal for anyone interested in visual storytelling and the powerful ways images can represent, reinterpret, and reimagine identity.
About the Facilitator
Krithika Sriram (b. 1993) is an Indian visual artist based in Banglore, Karnataka. Her work stems from her interest in Identity Politics and marginalized cultural narratives. Krithika uses various photographic techniques to explore concepts of Self, identity, and personal history.
