Dr. Swati Popat Vats – President, Early Childhood Association India

Dr. Vats stands as one of India’s most respected and influential voices in the field of early childhood education. With a career spanning decades, she has been instrumental in shaping progressive learning environments and educational policies across the nation.

She actively champions for high-quality learning standards, and her multiple books serve as essential guides for educators seeking to implement modern, child-centric teaching practices.

Cultivating Deep Thinking: A Concept-Based Approach (Code: CBL)
Ms. Manju Nair – Pedagogical Leader in IB World School

An International Baccalaureate Educator Network (IBEN) member holding multiple roles including Consultant and Workshop Leader. She is a certified trainer for Erickson and Lanning’s Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction (CBCI) and holds a Singapore ACTA certification. Her expertise includes strategic planning and curriculum development.

Discover how to move beyond surface-level teaching to cultivate deep thinking in young children. This session explores the foundations of concept-based learning—an approach that empowers children to make connections, ask meaningful questions, and develop transferable understanding. The workshop is designed for educators across all curricula.

Ms. Sharayu Thampi    
Reflective Teaching: Improving Practice in Response to Children’s Needs (Code: RT)
Ms. Sharayu Thampi – Head of School, Kai Early Years

A seasoned educator with over two decades of experience in early childhood education. Passionate about creating nurturing learning environments, she has extensive experience with the IB-PYP and Montessori philosophies. Ms. Sharayu holds a Master’s Degree in Education and Child Psychology.

Great teaching starts with deep reflection. This interactive session empowers early years educators to critically examine their practice and adapt in response to children’s evolving needs. Participants will explore strategies for responsive planning, classroom observation, and improving daily routines in ways that center each child’s growth and wellbeing.

Ms. Anahita K. Gandhi

Ms. Anahita K. Gandhi – Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Certified Trainer

The Director of Training at the Montessori Institute of Bangalore and an esteemed Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) trainer. With over two decades of experience, she has led teacher training programs internationally. Her expertise lies in curriculum development and mentoring educators.

Every child passes through unique and powerful windows of development. With a foundation in Montessori philosophy, this session supports educators across all settings in understanding key milestones from birth to age eight. Participants will leave with practical insights to design learning environments that nurture development.
