ABOUT TUESDAYS WITH THE BARD @ URBAN SOLACE

Tuesdays with the Bard @ Urban Solace is featured in the Limca Book of Records 2016 as the Longest Running Poetry Event in India.

Over the last 300+ Weeks “Tuesdays with the Bard @ Urban Solace” poets have wrung tears of joy, nods of recognition, fleeting smiles, happy applause, wistful memories ... and several unforgettable poems.

In our 312th Edition of "Tuesdays with the Bard @ Urban Solace" we bring you a special Open Mic evening on the theme "Celebrating Bangalore" An evening of Poetry and Songs on Bangalore the City that we call home.

About the evening:

Bangalore is many things to all people who have had the good fortune to embrace the energy of the city.... from once being the garden city of India, to being a pensioner’s paradise, pub city and now the IT capital, startup capital, silicon valley of India and more.... with each of these titles, Bangalore offer its visitors and residents the opportunity to experience the city in a myriad different ways. 
If you have been
fortunate to have passed through Bangalore during this earth's journey; you
have been touched by the magic of Bangalore.... its people, places and
peculiarities.

We at Urban Solace have planned a special evening of poetry & song on the occasion of "Karnataka Rajyotsava Day". So if you have written a poem or composed a song about this beautiful city we call home, then be a part of this celebration sharing your talents in the spotlight in our special edition "Celebrating Bangalore".
