ABOUT THE FEATURED POET: GAGANA

Gagana is a teacher and a writer, living with her family of dogs, plants, humans, and paintings, in Doddagubbi, situated on the edge of Bengaluru city. Finding magic and beauty in ordinary things is what makes her come alive. Poetry is her choice of medium to connect to self, others, and the world around her. Last year, she self-published a book of poems titled 'Exhale'. She firmly believes that the spoken and written word are sacred, and have the power to transform and even heal when wielded with love.
