ABOUT THE FEATURED POET: With a deep affinity for the literary arts, Aastha did her bachelor’s in English and aspires to someday impart the beauty of literature by pursuing a career as an English teacher or professor. In poetry, penning down unspoken thoughts started as a therapeutic escape for her, ultimately turning into an art form she puts her heart in. Primarily focusing on confessional writing, her poetry centers on love, life, loss, self-image, the pains of growing and the spectrum of human emotions. Her love for literature extends to an obsession with books, making her an avid reader. Need book recommendations or conversations about the deeper things in life? She’s your gal for it all! When in a writer’s block, she can be found crafting illustrations in her drawing journal.
