Led by mridangam innovator Viveick Rajagopalan and virtuoso Anantha R. Krishnan, this performance offers a captivating blend of traditional Indian rhythms and contemporary electronic sounds. Rajagopalan’s inventive mridangam techniques join forces with Krishnan’s expertise in complex Carnatic patterns, creating a unique auditory and visual experience. Beyond music, this collaboration combines traditional aesthetics with modern technology, delivering a high-energy, immersive festival performance that fuses culture, music, and innovation.    

About the Artists  

Viveick Rajagopolan, a pioneer in mridangam production, has consistently pushed the boundaries of traditional music, making it relevant and exciting for a global audience. His innovative use of the mridangam has earned him accolades worldwide, and his performances are known for their energy, creativity, and ability to transcend cultural barriers.   

Anantha R. Krishnan brings to the table a rich lineage of Carnatic music, combined with an impressive academic background in electronic music from prestigious institutions. As a professor at AR Rahman's KM Music Conservatory in Chennai, Anantha bridges the gap between classical Indian music and contemporary sounds, making him the perfect counterpart to Viveick in this dynamic duo.
