Bengaluru, once known as the city of a thousand lakes, has witnessed its surface water bodies disappear over time. Can we track these disappearances? Using old and new, physical and digital maps, hydrologist Shashank Palur will take you through the process of finding some of these lost lakes. Learn how to read toposheets, use digital tools to create maps, and trace the slowly vanishing presence of the lakes around us.
