Event Description

Vastrabharana, the Crafts Council of Karnataka’s annual textile and jewellery showcase, returns for its 35th edition with Meghdhanush, a celebration of India’s diverse craft traditions through colour, technique and region. The exhibition features 60 label launches alongside textiles including Ajrakh, Bagh, Paithani, Banarasi, Chanderi, Maheshwari, Molakalmuru and Kanjivaram, with master artisans and revivalists from across India.

This year also introduces Ratnangan – Jewels of Memory, a dedicated jewellery pavilion bringing together traditional, vintage and contemporary jewellery from across India. The exhibition focuses on the provenance and craft knowledge behind the textiles and jewellery on display.
