Velvet & Vinyl is a curated musical journey through themes of love, longing, and quiet introspection — a heartfelt tribute to legendary women in jazz, pop, and blues whose voices have shaped cultural memory across generations. Blending storytelling with original compositions, the performance traces an emotional thread from Billie Holiday to Amy Winehouse, from Ella Fitzgerald to Etta James, and from Aretha Franklin to Adele — artists who have each echoed, challenged, or redefined the female experience through their music.
As a voice-and-guitar duo, this concert offers an intimate listening experience — a space where melody meets memory, and where personal truth is held in conversation with history and genre. Original songs are interwoven throughout the set, offering a contemporary and deeply personal reflection on the same themes.
