Event Description

Venkat Raman Collective: Funk, Jazz & The In-Between

Join the Venkat Raman Collective at Courtyard Koota for an electric night of deep grooves and tight improvisation. The band delivers a dynamic, high-energy set featuring original funk compositions alongside freshly reinvented jazz and funk classics.

Venkat Raman Collective delivers a high-octane, genre-blurring sonic experience sitting firmly at the intersection of blues, funk, R&B, and jazz. Venkat’s instrumental compositions have evolved from a solo vision, into a powerhouse live band experience. This supergroup outfit translates intricate studio arrangements into raw, improvisational, and deeply soulful live performances. For fans of masterclass funk playing and unbreakable grooves, VRC is a dynamic addition to any lineup.
