Event Description

The virtual session with poet and lawyer Pamarty Venkataramanawill be focusing on the interconnection between poetry, spirituality and positive ageing.

Almost as famous for his mettle for the literary word as much as for his courtroom oration, Pamarty will exchange ideas and experiences with senior residents, of a senior citizens home, on the importance of poetry and spirituality on positive aging. 

In addition to being a leading corporate lawyer of international repute, Pamarty is a respected thinker and prolific columnist. He made his mark in the literary world with three published books of poetry in English (In a Blink, Chasing a Shadow, and A Master’s Piece) and a book of short stories (A Whispering Star). His forthcoming works include X-raying the Mahatma and a book of essays on a New India (Canada) which are planned Facebook Live Session -Pamarty Venkataramana-02for release later this year.

Pamarty has been conferred with coveted titles including the Ambassador of Peace and Prophet of New Age Poetry and has been recognized with prestigious awards including the Alladi Kupuswamy Memorial National Award for the Best Young Lawyer, Edward Kennedy Memorial International Award for lifetime contribution in the fields of law and medicine and for mentoring path-breaking research in greenfield technologies including green energy.
