Event Description

ARTELLA presents Visions and Tales, a solo exhibition by artist Aparna Rajapandian, curated by Belinda Fernandez, at the MKF Museum of Art, Bengaluru. The exhibition runs from January 31 to February 11, 2026.

In Visions and Tales, Aparna Rajapandian invites viewers into richly layered inner worlds where the psychological, the mythic, and the deeply human intersect. Rooted in the feminine experience, her work does not offer a single narrative but explores a spectrum of emotions, memories, and identities. Through fragmented faces, symbolic creatures, and dreamlike environments, she constructs what can be described as an “emotional architecture” — compositions that feel like chambers of the mind where intuition, vulnerability, and strength coexist.

Intricate yet intuitive, Aparna’s visual language reveals a personal mythology that resonates universally. These works are not simply meant to be observed, but entered — offering moments of reflection, connection, and insight. Visions and Tales unfolds as a contemplative journey, encouraging a deeper understanding of the many dimensions of womanhood.
