Event Description

Durga Listens is a fortnightly event that Durga - a social sector organisation - conducts. The event provides a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals - irrespective of age, gender, class, caste - can speak about their experiences related to the predefined theme...and Durga listens with empathy and sensitivity. The speakers who speak are commoners like you and me, experiencing collective challenges, fighting against the same issues. Because the personal is political.
We have conducted 19 online and 1 offline edition so far and reached out to 620+ folks across various walks of life and listened to 70+ speakers share their experiences including a special edition where we heard personal experiences of activists like Pragya Prasun, Haseena Khan and Afreen Akhtar.
