Event Description

This workshop re-examines the concept of the "self" from an experiential perspective rather than a purely cognitive one, addressing how individuals experience and understand emotional pain. It opens with fundamental inquiry into how one recognizes when they are not okay and what true emotional well-being actually means. The session highlights a pervasive issue: modern approaches often focus excessively on pain in inaccurate ways, leading to a lost connection with the core concept of self. Instead of treating emotional distress as an abstract idea, the module aims to ground self-awareness in real, felt internal experiences. Ultimately, the workshop serves as a gateway to help individuals navigate deep-seated pain, break free from restrictive emotional patterns, and reconstruct a grounded, present sense of self.

The workshop is being organized and moderated by Nimesh George ANd Gokul R who are practicing psychologist based in Bangalore
