Perhaps best known as the frontman of Bangalore's Thermal And A Quarter, Bruce Lee Mani colours outside those lines with solo instrumentals; singer/songwriter acoustic material; cinematic soundtrack compositions, and ensemble fusion work. 'Works in Progress' will bring some of these into focus across a 90-minute songcraft workshop and performance.

Expect 3 sets – a solo acoustic set with new material; a set with acclaimed Hindustani classical singer / actor / activist Pallavi MD featuring musical re-imaginations of 12th century Kannada poems; and another set with Sumana, a popular singer-songwriter and live performer based in Paris, France.

Each set will include expositions + Q&A on the material, methods, creative choices and techniques used. You could think of this as a rare opportunity to catch three outstanding musicians showcasing and deconstructing up-to-the-minute work, in the glorious, intimate setting of one of the best spaces in the city for such an event – The Blue Room.
