The National Gallery of Modern Art Bengaluru (Ministry of Culture, Government of India) cordially invites you to a "Workshop on Chittara" - a traditional art form rooted in Karnataka.
Chittara, traditionally created by the tribal women of Malnad on their red mud-coated houses and on the ground as rangoli, are part of a larger context of creativity and celebration in the cultural milieu of the region
