Varijashree Venugopal presents an insightful session exploring the versatile Swara system in Indian Classical music, and how it can be applied to musical exploration across genres.
 
This workshop will involve listening to, understanding, decoding/transcribing, and applying the Sargam style of singing in world genres, and later on, explore improvisation using these concepts. Extended Q&A to follow.
