Event Description

This Sunday, on World Theatre Day, join Ranga Shankara to spend a day celebrating the resilient spirit of our theatre community!

Time: 12 pm -At ‘Encounters: Inspiring Stories from Theatre’ we will be joined by several theatre folks from Karnataka and Maharashtra sharing the work they have created and engaged with during the last two years.

Time: 5:30 pm-In the evening, at this weekend’s RS Connect (in collaboration with Attakkalari), Aswathy Chandran, Rohee Uberoi and Priyanka Lokhande will go on a journey into finding one’s voice through stages of discoveries and self-affirmation in ‘Pressing Pause’, a series of movement solos.

Time: 7:30 pm-They will also celebrate an evening of singing and nostalgia - ‘Ranga Geethegalu’ - as the team of Ranga Mantapa will perform old and popular theatre songs such as those by BV Karanth, C Ashwat, Yogānarasimha and many more.
