Yaksha Sanjhe Celebrating Art, Culture & Cuisines of Karnataka The evening includes a Yakshagana performance with storytelling in English, Music, Cuisines and activities from Karnataka’s cultural landscape. Evening will begin with settling into space and telling of Abhimanyu 's story, followed by enthralling performance of the story in Yakshagana style by children from one of the foremost Yakshagana troupe, Yakshadegula. Post performance there will be activities for both children and grown-ups and finally culminating with savoring homemade cuisines from karnataka. About the performance: Abhimanyu 's story to be told and then performed aas a dance drama in the yakshagana style performed by Yakshadegula who are one of the foremost yakshagana troupes in Karnataka. Yakshadegula was established by K.Mohan 40 years ago. Team has done extensive work in the field of Yakshagana across the globe. Yakshagana is an ancient form of Folk theatre - a dance drama predominant and typical to coastal Karnataka. Traditionally performed in the open air. This artform is also known as Bayalata which would mean a field play. Yakshagana themes usually relate an epic parable or story with a spiritual lesson. The various narrative strands are in every case planted to convey to the audience one basic point that ‘Good always triumphs over evil.’ Directed by Priyanka K Mohan Performed by Yakshadegula’s children’s troup Vegetarian cuisines suitable for adults and children as well. About Namak Art Experience: Namak brings to you a series of mindfully curated thematic experiences across the various visual and performing arts; which are multi-sensorial and distinctly casual. || These are experiences which ask to be savoured, and not rushed about. To be sipped at a gentle pace, than gulped down in a hurry. || At Namak, we are creating extended experiential sessions where you are welcomed to an ambience that offers you the time it takes to immerse yourself in the universe that the experience promises. || Rather than hastening you to switch from one to another context in quick succession. || What Namak envisions is an ecosystem of unhurried artistic experiences, complemented by free-flowing conversations and general bonhomie.
