Yakshagana is a traditional Indian theatre form, developed in Dakshina Kannada and Uttara Kannada districts, in the state of Karnataka, and in Kasaragod district in Kerala that combines dance, music, dialogue, costume, make-up, and stage techniques with a unique style and form.
