This Sunday, Maverick & Farmer brings you an authentic Sri Lankan breakfast by Yo Colombo at their cafe in Ulsoor. Priya Bala will curate a spread of her favourite breakfast classics from the island nation, borrowed from memories of her childhood there. Priced at INR 1750 the breakfast shall be available exclusively on Sunday, the 14th of May 2023 at the Maverick & Farmer cafe in Ulsoor. The wholesome breakfast spread will feature traditional Sri Lankan combinations, expertly crafted with local, fresh produce and seasonal ingredients. Dig into dishes like the fluffy Wheat Puttu with freshly squeezed coconut milk, sambal and scrambled egg, the quintessentially Sri Lankan Hoppers accompanied with Chicken or Veg Curry, fiery Lunu Miris and Katta Sambol, tangy Seeni Sambol Sandwich, Crusty bread with Omlet Curry and finished with a delicious sweet treat, Lavaria – string hoppers with coconut filling, coconut cream, and treacle.
