India’s foreign policy towards Pakistan reflects the reality that while friends may change, neighbours are permanent. Dialogue, deterrence, and diplomacy remain key. Despite tensions, India seeks peaceful coexistence, emphasising counter-terrorism and regional stability while keeping open channels for engagement, recognising geography’s role in shaping long-term strategic approaches.
The talk will be followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
This lecture is a part of Azim Premji University’s Public Lecture Series.
