Event Description

Zariya a way towards self and others Submerged in the hubbub of life we often don’t get a chance to pause and reflect. Zariya is an initiative that aims to create a space as a means for people to come together and engage with themselves and others. With this initiative we hope to touch upon various themes every week. Many times we think about aspects and never truly create space for them. With Zariya we hope to hold and unpack those thoughts, emotions and experiences using various art forms like drama, movement, visual arts and creative writing.

For the 12th of November 2022, Yuthika and Mohini bring to you ‘Unwind the Mind”. It is a 90 mins long gathering. The goal of this gathering is to check in with yourself, connect with others, play and relax. Together we will Engage with art as a therapeutic process Check in with ourselves Access, explore and express our emotions

Connect with others Share our experiences Play, move, draw and play Relax and unwind Find a community Who can participate Anyone above the age of 18 is welcome to participate in these group sessions. The group work does not require the participant to be well-versed with any form of art. The art is only used as an extension of one’s creativity; it will not be judged in any manner.
