Ashwini Gupta And Her Quest For The Perfect Butter Muruku

Ashwini Gupta is all set to create a Butter Muruku from a recipe that she got from a relative. This could pretty much be the original recipe. It first teaches you to shop for the ingredients and then make it. In conversation with Explocity, Ashwini Gupta plans to embark on this journey this Independence Day.

What are your plans this Independence Day?

My plan is to make butter murk at home. I came across this deep and intricate recipe. Apparently the rice you need to get the right consistency, needs to be dried in the shade, and the type of urad dal is a specific type. This is the only way to recreate the original recipe and make Muruku the way it was intended.
