When the Indo-German Cultural Society is involved you know it is only the most authentic Oktoberfest you can find outside of Germany. This year, Bangalore’s biggest Oktoberfest is back at Vivanta by Taj MG Road.
While the original festival was first held in Munich in 1810, the event has gained popularity, clearly, the world over. Oktoberfest is usually held in large fairgrounds with live entertainment and amusement rides. Beer and food is just one part of a 16 day event.
In Bangalore we may not have a 16 day festival but on Saturday, October 7, 2017, the Indo-German Cultural Society is bringing a 21 piece live band all the way from Munich for entertainment.
On the menu, Executive Chef Selvaraju Ramasamy has Continental and German dishes that will go nicely with the beer.
Tickets are priced at Rs 2000 per person. Book your tickets before they get sold out, by calling +91 80 6660 4444.
