Lakshmi Dhana And Her Love For Thai Curry

Lakshmi Dhana is a foodie with a special love for Thai Curry. She has sampled this across the city. Read her conversation with Explocity to know her favourite Thai Curry in the city.

Are you a foodie?

A big time foodie. I love everything about food. Like is an understatement.

What’s your favourite cuisine?

Anything and everything that is edible and tastes good. Sometimes curd rice is that thing. But a Thai Curry is amazing. And, of course, our South Indian food. Especially Andhra cuisine. Because I’m a Telugu.

What’s the last place that you went to in Bangalore that you really enjoyed? What did you eat there that stood out?

Oki on Kammanahalli Main Road. I had the Chicken Thai Curry with Sticky Rice. I like the lemongrass flavour and smell. The flavour gives me a good feeling. It’s a recently come up restaurant. The place is amazing.

What’s your favourite dish of all time and where did you eat it?

Mutton Pepper Fry. The spicy peppery mutton curry that I made at home last Sunday.

What is your least favourite dish?

Nothing like that. Even curd rice can be a good meal. It depends on mood and situation.

If you have to recommend a place to our readers what will it be?

Probably a few. Oki, for sure, is a must try. Local in Kammanahalli is also really good for the food. High Ultra Lounge has the best Dim Sums and Thai Curry. Plus the view of course.
